How to tell the difference
Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored" in the HTML and open in a new
tab. Unpaid recommendations carry rel="nofollow" only. We use both,
and we treat the distinction as a matter of honesty rather than convention.
We only link to products we consider genuinely useful for QA and SDET work. Commissions do not decide which products we recommend.

Recommendations we don't earn from
Several products we recommend on merit are no longer affiliate-monetized. They moved from traditional affiliate programs to channel-partner or reseller models in 2025–2026. The links stay because we still think they're the right tools in their categories. We don't earn from clicks or signups on these.
